You should fix one end of the strip on the base fabric with needle and thread. Then, start rolling the strip around this point. Since you roll into the rose shape you should also roll the fabric strips on its own. Once the rose is made, stitch the end in place with needle and thread.
Fabric Rose with Organza :
This is one of the easiest roses that can be made by folding small pieces of organza or other sheer fabrics into petal shapes. For making the petals of this rose take a piece of organza fabric which is double as wide and long as the petal you want. You should fold the fabric lengthwise, edges to the center, and then fold it by half.
